QUALIFICATION:
Education: 3 years at technical schools in “Electronics & Technical Informatics” or 5 years at higher technical institutions in "Computer Science" or “Electronics & Technical Informatics”
Subjects – Computer Science: Network Technology / Systems Technology / Computer Communication / Cyber Security / Project Management / Business Administration / Accounting
Additional qualification: SAP or Cisco (school-dependent)
Practical experience: School-owned workshops as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Educational option:
Application Consultant / Application Supervisor -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences
Completed degree in IT/growth field or comparable qualification – alternatively relevant professional experience
ACTIVITIES:
* Advising business departments on use cases, requirements, and optimal solutions for existing and new applications
* Operating, monitoring and supporting 2nd/3rd level applications
* Coordination of release, change, and incident management in alignment with DevOps, IT infrastructure, and third-party support
* Gathering, analysis and prioritisation of requirements; creating business concepts, specifications, and migration plans
* Participation in the architectural and integration planning of application solutions
* Conducting workshop, support, and user training, and creation of user documentation
* Monitoring performance, availability, and security aspects; identifying optimization potential
* Supporting IT governance, compliance, and data protection requirements
* Ensuring stakeholder management: collaboration with business departments, IT teams, and external partners
