Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
3 years apprenticeship - in combination with an additional special module or main module = 4 years duration

Main modules (optional):
Gas & Sanitary Technology / Ventilation Technology
Special modules (optional):
Eco-Energy Technology / Control & Regulation Technology / Building Services Planning

Completed training as a HVAC System Mechanic / Heating Engineer / Mechatronics Engineer or comparable qualification - further training in Heating Technology is an advantage

ACTIVITIES:
* Planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of heating systems (e.g., condensing boilers, oil-fired heating, district heating, radiator and underfloor heating) in new and existing buildings
* Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance according to maintenance plans
* Optimization of heating systems (efficiency improvement, modernization, hydraulic balancing)
* Collaboration with site managers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and facility management
* Preparation of documentation, test reports, and maintenance reports
* Compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., DGUV, DGUV regulations, DIN/VDE standards)
* Support with bids, quantity surveys, and planning of modernization measures
* Willingness to work on-site; on-call availability may be required depending on the schedule

skills_and_requirements
A - Min. 5 years of professional experience in planning/installation/maintenance of heating systems B - Solid knowledge of heating technology, measurement and control technology C - Solid knowledge of control engineering (e.g., room temperature and hydraulic control) D - Basic knowledge of norms and standards (e.g., DIN, VDI, DGUV) E - Proficiency with MS Office and, if applicable, maintenance databases F - Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and independent work G - Willingness to work regularly on-site H - Class B driver's license is required I - Good written and spoken German skills; English & further language skills advantageous
