Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Successfully completed studies in Human Medicine -> 9-month basic training (rotation) -> specialization basic training as well as specialization focus training in the chosen specialization (duration between 63 and 72 months without studies - depending on the specialization) -> graduation with specialist examination at the Austria Medical Chamber  

Licensed Physician - Specialist Certification in “Urology” 

ACTIVITIES:
* Diagnosis, consultation, and surgical treatment of urological conditions (e.g., urinary tract infections, urological tumours, urolithiasis, prostate changes, incontinence, kidney disease)
* Performance and support of endourological, laparoscopic, and open surgical procedures
* Participation in preventive examinations, early detection of prostate and bladder cancer
* Postoperative care, quality management, documentation, and evidence-based treatment concepts
* Interdisciplinary collaboration with radiology, neuroradiology, anaesthesiology, intensive care medicine, and nursing
* Participation in clinical projects, teaching, and continuing education

skills_and_requirements
A - Practical professional experience (10+ years) in the specialist field B - Additional qualifications desirable (e.g., andrology, oncology) C - Sound surgical skills in urology (ball-loving, endourological techniques) D - Sound surgical skills in urology (laparoscopic/robotic-assisted procedures) E - Strong patient orientation, empathy & resilience, teamwork and strong communication skills F - Willingness to engage in continuous professional development G - Willingness to work shifts & weekend services, on call / emergency care depending on the roster H - Very good written and spoken German skills; English & further language skills advantageous
