QUALIFICATION:

The apprenticeship “Wood Technician – Prefabricated Component Production” is part of the modular apprenticeship “Wood Technician” with totally 4 main modules and 1 specialization module

Apprenticeship duration options & combinations:
1 - 3.0 years = Basic Module (2 years) + Main Module (1 year)
2 - 3.5 years = Main Module (optional - 3 years) + Specialization Module (0.5 years)
3 - 4.0 years = Main Module (optional - 3 years) + Main Module (optional - 1 year)

Specialization module (optional):
Design, Construction & Project

Completed vocational training in Wood Technology / Carpentry/Joinery / Timber Construction, or comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Planning, manufacturing, and finishing of wooden components and prefabricated parts (prefabrication, cutting, gluing, and joining)
* Assembly preparation, creating parts lists, ordering materials, and coordinating schedules
* Checking the dimensional accuracy, fit, and quality of prefabricated parts
* On-site assembly supervision and communication with customers, assembly partners, and suppliers
* Troubleshooting, repair, and, if necessary, modernization of existing systems
* Documentation of work, creation of production and maintenance reports
* Participation in quality assurance
* Compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
