QUALIFICATION:

The apprenticeship “Wood Technician – Sawing Technology” is part of the modular apprenticeship “Wood Technician” with totally 4 main modules and 1 specialization module

Apprenticeship duration options & combinations:
1 - 3.0 years = Basic Module (2 years) + Main Module (1 year)
2 - 3.5 years = Main Module (optional - 3 years) + Specialization Module (0.5 years)
3 - 4.0 years = Main Module (optional - 3 years) + Main Module (optional - 1 year)

Specialization module (optional):
Design, Construction & Project

Completed vocational training in Wood Technology / Carpentry/Joinery / Timber Construction, or comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Planning, operation, and optimization of sawing technologies (vertical/horizontal/CNC saws) as well as setting cutting tolerances
* On-site measurements, creating parts lists, ordering materials, and coordinating schedules
* Checking the dimensional accuracy, fit, and quality of sawn parts
* Troubleshooting, repairing, and if necessary, modernizing sawing systems
* Supporting of installation & communication with customers, installation partners, and suppliers
* Documentation of work, creation of production & maintenance reports
* Participation in quality assurance
* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
